SDSS-III Database Download

SDSS-III DR8 catalog data now available for download!

The Sloan Digital Sky Survey-III's Data Release 8 catalog database, BestDR8 is available to mirror sites for download. Currently the DR8 database is only available for download from JHU, but in the future it will be available from the National Center for Data Mining (NCDM) at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC)
